Roofing in Universal City & Selma

Roofing for Universal City and Selma — Randolph's neighbors

Thirty thousand people between Schertz and the Loop: Universal City's 1960s–80s ranches built for the base, and Selma's newer subdivisions and shopping centers. Twenty minutes down I-35.

Roofer replacing damaged shingles and flashing around a chimney on a New Braunfels home

Universal City grew up beside Randolph Air Force Base, and its neighborhoods show it: 1960s–80s brick ranches and split-levels on the streets off Pat Booker Road, Kitty Hawk Road and Universal City Boulevard, with roofs on their second or third life and a lot of military families who need a roofer who shows up when he says. Selma, wrapped around the I-35 and Loop 1604 interchange, is newer — 1990s–2010s subdivisions like Retama Springs and the streets off Evans Road, plus the big retail roofs at the Forum and along Lookout Road. Both cities sit in the hail path that runs from San Antonio's northeast side through Schertz and Cibolo to Seguin.

Twenty minutes down I-35, we handle Universal City and Selma with the same crews that work Schertz and Cibolo: free hail and wind inspections, claims documented and matched to the adjuster's scope, replacements with Class 4 upgrades and the ventilation the older attics never had, chimney and flashing repairs on the ranches, HOA packets for Selma's subdivisions, and TPO and metal on the commercial roofs. Each city issues its own permit for roof replacement; we pull the right one. Military discount, honest answers, deductible never waived.

Questions from Universal City & Selma homeowners

Do you offer a military discount?

Yes, for active duty, retirees and their families — ask when you call. A lot of Universal City is Randolph, and we schedule around deployments and moves.

My 1970s ranch has been reroofed twice — what should I expect this time?

Decking repairs and a ventilation fix. Two previous roofs mean the deck has held a lot of nails and the attic was probably never vented; we price the sheets and add ridge-and-intake vents while it's open.

Which permit office covers me?

Universal City and Selma each issue their own permit for roof replacement, and the line between them runs through some neighborhoods. We check the address and pull the right one.

Did the 2024 hail reach Selma?

Northeast Bexar County and Guadalupe County took ping-pong-ball hail in April 2024 and again in the spring storms since. If you haven't had the roof looked at, a free inspection is worth ten minutes.

Do you do the shopping-center roofs on Lookout Road?

Yes — TPO and modified bitumen replacement, restoration coatings and maintenance programs with per-building reports.
