Commercial roofing

Commercial roofing for New Braunfels businesses

Flat and low-slope roofs on shops, restaurants, churches and small industrial buildings from Gruene to I-35 — TPO, modified bitumen and metal, plus the repair and maintenance that keeps a roof off the capital budget.

Standing-seam metal roof on a limestone and cedar Hill Country home near New Braunfels

New Braunfels has a lot of small commercial roofing: the shops and restaurants around Gruene and the Plaza, the strip centers along I-35 and Loop 337, the churches, the warehouses and light-industrial buildings out FM 306 and in the industrial parks off I-35. Most of it is flat or low-slope, and most of it is roofed in a single-ply membrane or modified bitumen that's near the end of its life and leaking at the seams, the drains and the HVAC curbs. Hail hits it just as hard as it hits houses — a 45-mil TPO roof shows it as fractures at every seam and bruises over every board fastener.

We do the full range: TPO and PVC single-ply (mechanically fastened or fully adhered, 60- and 80-mil), modified-bitumen and coating systems, standing-seam and R-panel metal, and the repair, drain, curb and coping work in between. Every commercial job gets a written proposal with a scope, a schedule that works around your business hours, a manufacturer warranty registered in your name, and the City of New Braunfels commercial permit.

Questions we get about commercial roofing

What's the best flat roof for Central Texas?

For most buildings, a fully adhered 80-mil TPO over cover board: it's white (reflective in a 105-degree August), hail-rated, and the seams are heat-welded rather than glued. PVC is better over restaurants because grease doesn't degrade it. Metal is the long-term answer on a building with enough slope.

Can you coat my roof instead of replacing it?

If the membrane is sound and the insulation is dry, a silicone coating buys 10–15 years at a third of the price. If the roof has wet insulation or failing seams everywhere, coating it is throwing money at it — we'll core-sample it and tell you which.

Do you handle the insurance claim on a commercial roof?

Yes, the same way as residential: documentation, adjuster meeting, scope reconciliation. Commercial policies often carry higher deductibles and co-insurance clauses; we'll walk through the numbers with you.

Will you work around my business hours?

That's the point of a written schedule. Restaurants and retail get closed-day and early-morning work; warehouses get phased so the operation keeps running.

Do you offer maintenance contracts?

Yes — twice-a-year inspections, drain and seam cleaning, minor repairs and a photo report each visit. It's the cheapest roofing money a building owner spends.
