Read this before you decide
The pages here explain roofing in general. They can't see your roof.
Last revised September 2026. Write to hello@newbraunfelsroofingco.com with questions.
We built this site to help homeowners around New Braunfels make sense of roofing work. Two ceilings with the same brown stain can call for completely different fixes, because shingle age, how the deck is holding up, the flashing, the ventilation, past hail and how the roof went on all change the answer. Only someone up on the roof can say whether you need a repair, a claim, or nothing at all.
Bear in mind that independent contractors do the roofing. Our referral marketing disclosure sets out that arrangement and how they're paid.
What this site is not
- Not an inspection. Nothing on these pages counts as a roof inspection, as an engineering opinion, or as advice aimed at your particular house.
- Not a quote. The dollar figures scattered through our guides and service pages are rough planning ranges for ordinary jobs in New Braunfels, across Comal County and out into the Hill Country. Roof pitch, how many layers come off, deck repairs, material choice, access, permit requirements and whichever scope your carrier agrees to all move the number. The price is the one on your written estimate.
- Not a coverage opinion. Hail or wind damage might be covered, or might not; that turns on your policy, the deductible you carry and what the adjuster finds. Documenting is our job; deciding is the carrier's. The deductible stays yours, as the law requires.
- Not a record of your neighbor's job. The photos are illustrations of the sort of damage and repairs the text talks about. They aren't before-and-after shots of a particular customer's project in New Braunfels.
- Not a promise of roof life. Weather, attic ventilation, upkeep, tree cover and hail decide that. Good installation gives you the best odds and nothing more. The only warranty that applies is whichever one your signed contract with the roofer spells out; manufacturer warranties come with separate terms and a registration step.
- Not responsible for other websites. Outside links are there for convenience. We don't control what's on them and can't vouch for it.
- Not guaranteed to be current. We keep the site up to date, but details shift and mistakes slip through. Point one out and we'll fix it.
When the roof can't wait
If water is pouring in, a tree has landed on the house, or you notice sparks or a gas smell after a storm, don't stop to read a website. Get everyone clear of the area, kill the power to the affected rooms if that can be done safely. Ring 911 or the utility about the hazard first. Call us about the roof second. And if anything here leaves you unsure, ask first, then decide: (830) 626-9183 or hello@newbraunfelsroofingco.com, and you'll have an answer.
