Who we are
New Braunfels Roofing Co. is a locally operated roofing company based in New Braunfels, Texas. Roofing is performed by crews carrying general liability and workers' compensation insurance; a certificate of insurance is provided on request before work begins. Texas does not license roofing contractors; we register with the City of New Braunfels for permitted work.
Estimates and inspections
Roof inspections after a named storm, or with a repair, are free; standalone inspection reports are priced as listed. Estimates are itemized and valid for 30 days. Prices on this website are typical ranges for planning only; your written estimate governs.
Insurance claims
Where work is paid by an insurance claim, the homeowner files the claim and remains the policyholder; we document damage, meet the adjuster at the owner's request and reconcile the scope. We do not accept assignment of claims. The policy deductible is collected from the homeowner in full, as required by Texas Insurance Code Chapter 707; we do not waive, absorb or rebate deductibles.
Permits and approvals
Where a City of New Braunfels or county permit is required, we obtain it under our name and it is listed on the estimate; work is scheduled after approval. Homeowner-association approvals are the owner's responsibility; we supply the samples and specifications the committee asks for.
Contracts, deposits and payment
Work begins only after a signed written estimate. A materials deposit may be required for replacements and metal roofs; the balance is due on completion unless the estimate says otherwise. Change orders (for example, decking replacement beyond the allowance) are priced per the unit rates on the estimate and approved before proceeding.
Warranty
Manufacturer warranties are registered in the owner's name. Our workmanship warranty is stated on the estimate and covers leaks caused by installation for the stated period; it excludes damage from storms, fallen limbs, foot traffic by others and work by other trades.
Weather and site
Roofing is weather-dependent; dates may move for rain, lightning or high wind, and a roof opened for tear-off is always dried-in before the crew leaves. The owner agrees to move vehicles from the driveway, keep pets and children inside during the work, and remove fragile items from walls; vibration from tear-off is normal. We sweep for nails with magnets but cannot guarantee every fastener in landscaping.
